Fantastic renovated village house with lots of charm, flair and furnished with absolute attention to detail.
The pool, the bathtub on the roof terrace, snuggling by the fireplace or relaxing in one of the many daybeds promise a relaxing holiday. It is a real gem with great details and incomparable highlights.
Ideal for several couples or 2-3 families as well as groups and actually everyone. The house is divided into two separate living units. However, it is rented out completely as a whole house.
The house has 4 sleeping rooms. 2 in the main house and 2 in the separate appartement above.
There are 4 bathrooms with shower and bathtub and a bathroom with toilet in the patio.
The house is divided as follows:
Lower residential unit:
2 bedrooms 1 bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed (180 x 200cm), air conditioning and en suite bathroom with shower, corner bath, double washbasin and toilet. The bedroom has direct access to both the patio and the house. The second bedroom is on the first floor, has air conditioning and an adjoining bathroom with shower and toilet and a double bed ( dimensions: 160x200cm).
The large, cosy living room with partly glass-covered area with a view of the starry sky, has a large plasma TV (SAT TV), an enclosed fireplace and many cosy seating and lounging options.
The kitchen is also very spacious and has a large Smeg gas cooker, dishwasher, refrigerator and everything a well-equipped kitchen needs. The kitchen has a large exit to the patio with brick daybed, dining table and small bathroom with toilet.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a large dining room with dining table and great views and exit to the pool through the glazed French doors.
The patio with pool has many comfortable seating and lounging options and also scores with a Weber gas barbecue and a mini bar by the pool.
The whole house has wifi.
An external staircase leads to the upper part of the house. This can only be reached from the lower part from the outside.
Upper residential unit:
The upper flat has 2 very large sunny roof terraces with daybed, cosy sitting area, awnings and dining table with chairs.
The terrace leads to the cosy dining room with fridge, sink and another dishwasher. In this living-dining room there is also an open fireplace, as well as beautiful furniture and accessories.
There is also a completely new, very stylish bathroom with shower and toilet right next to it.
Next to the bathroom is a cosy bedroom (the fourth) with a double bed (160x200cm).
A staircase leads up another floor to a quite extraordinary living room with a far-reaching view over the fields, comfortable seating and SAT TV.
From the living room there is access to another terrace where there is a retro bathtub with both hot and cold water connections. Nothing stands in the way of relaxing hours in the bathtub under the starry sky on the almost invisible terrace.
Adjacent to the living room is another and thus the fifth bedroom, with a double bed (180x200cm) and a mini bathroom en suite with shower and toilet.

HIBERNATE/ HOME OFFICE:
Long-term rentals are possible from November to March.
For rentals of at least 1 month, the monthly rate for the main house with pool is 2600 EUR (all utilities and heating included).
Renting the flat costs 1800 EUR per month (all utilities and heating costs included).

Durch den geschützten und fast durchgehend sonnigen Innenhof konnten wir auch schon im März entspannt draußen frühstücken. Die Lage ist perfekt für das erkunden des schönen Südostens der Insel. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!
The stay at Thorsten’s historic home could not have been better. If you are someone who appreciates the details, ambiance, and natural lighting this home is for you. This 300+ year old property comes with the modern touches and amenities to make the stay comfortable, yet has the charm that an old property brings. The only downside is that you might not want to leave the property 😉
The house was pure magic. We loved the pool and cooking and dining outside. The multiple terraces with beautiful views gave us many places to relax and connect. The location is central to the southern part of the island, close enough to larger towns for convenience, and far enough to truly feel on holiday. Thorsten and Jenny are incredible hosts with good communication and excellent recommendations. We cannot wait to return.
